Elliott is 3 months old!

I can't believe how fast our little girl is growing!! She is smiling and laughing so much. At her last checkup she weighed almost 13 pounds! She has been sleeping through the night for a few weeks now and that is just awesome. (I probably just jinxed myself bigtime) I remember being so nervous about having another baby. Will I be able to love her just as much as Connor? Can I handle another one? Will I remember what to do? As soon as I held her, all of the feelings flooded back from the first delivery. That instant love and joy. And at that moment, my heart made plenty of room for her too. Having 2 kids is definitely different, but so wonderful! I am so thankful that God chose us to be parents of these two beautiful angels. We could not ask for more! Here are some updated pics of my little monkeys.PhotobucketPhotobucketPhotobucketPhotobucket

Field Trip!!

Connor's K-4 class at Robert E. Lee went on their first field trip of the year today!! We went to the pumpkin patch in Mcbee and had a blast!! They got to hear a couple of stories about pumpkins and how they grow and then off for the hayride to pick out their very own pumpkins. It was pretty chilly, but we really had fun. Then of course we had to purchase some goodies from inside!! PhotobucketConnor and Lacie PhotobucketPhotobucket

Fall fun at Prestwood

We had such a great time at the Prestwood country club wiener roast!! They also had a hayride that Connor loved! Elliott came along too, but headed back home with YaYa during the hayride. It got a little too cool for her and I think she had enough by that time!! PhotobucketPhotobucket

camping trip

We took a little weekend camping trip to the mountains a few weekends ago. Elliott stayed with my mom, but next year she will definitely go!! We wanted to take Connor to Ghost Town in Maggie Valley. We had so much fun and it made me remember going there when I was little!! We stayed in my grandparents pop-up camper, which Connor loved!! Sure beats a tent! The weather was perfect and the leaves were just starting to change colors. PhotobucketPhotobucketPhotobucketPhotobucketPhotobucketPhotobucket
I just wanted to thank everyone for your prayers for my friend Angie's mom. Her mother, Maggie, passed away today. Please keep this wonderful family in your prayers. Mrs. Rogers was a wonderful woman who will never be forgotten. She was loved by all who knew her!

Prayer request

My dear friend Angie's mom is in need of prayer!! Her name is Maggie and she had surgery to remove a benign brain tumor on Thursday. The swelling in her brain has not gone down like they had hoped and she is now in an induced coma. They really need your prayers at this time. Please pray that God will heal her and please also pray for her family. They are a strong christian family and have totally put this in God's hands. I know they would appreciate your prayers. Thanks!!
